Lara Carew-Jones enhances traditional scenes into edgy contemporary works. With a strong graphic quality and uncomplicated colour palette, the silhouettes leap from the paintings and one is drawn in as if an observer of the scene.

Lara graduated from Edinburgh University in 2008 with an MA in History of Art and is currently living in London and working towards a solo exhibition later this year.
